Modal Windows on Mobile Devices
There appears to be mixed feelings about using in-line modal windows in mobile interfaces. However, this example found on Foursquare's app for iPhone looks, behaves exactly like modal windows on a desktop environment. Based on this, I can't see a reason why modal dialogues shouldn't be used. All we need is someone to implement a jquery script that supports the plethora of mobile platforms.
